New Orleans is world-renowned for its distinctive music, Creole cuisine, unique dialects, and its annual celebrations and festivals, most notably Mardi Gras. The historic heart of the city is the French Quarter, known for its French and Spanish Creole architecture and vibrant nightlife along Bourbon Street.
The Details
Our journey will begin in the secure parking lot at Catawba Valley Baptist Church in Morganton NC. We will depart at 4 am on Friday, October 20th and will stop for breakfast & lunch enroute. We will arrive to New Orleans, LA at approximately 7pm. Our Hotel is upscale Cambria Hotel in the Warehouse District. We will unload and go out to dinner. Saturday & Sunday you will be on your own to explore (Jim is always close by for answers) Monday, October 23rd depart at 8 am, stopping for meals enroute. We should return around 10:30 pm
